On this occasion, KONQRIT will be presenting a selection of two of its tubs that well exemplify its motto 'Plunging into Art'; both were made from GFRC concrete.

On exhibit will be the model tub Bahía Grande, a piece measuring 180 x 80 x 53 cm, that creates a suggestive effect through its combination of black and white, blending tones with total fluidity. These chromatic effects - among them, marbling, fading, and batik - are an exclusive characteristic of the brand.
The second bathtub, Bahía Chica, intervened in by Argentine artist Catalina Ruiz under her alter ego 'SUMMIE I,' is inspired by Sumie, a Japanese technique borrowed from China. Her gentle brushstrokes and monochrome tone evoke naturalistic painting. Measuring 141 x 70 x 53cm, this piece provides a unique sensory experience, an intimate, inviting refuge

KONQRIT will take part as a new design talent in the Salone Satellite, stand number B09 of the Exhibition. The event will take place between April 16 to 21 of this year.

The selection committee of the Salone Satellite, headed by its founder, Marva Griffith Wilshire - and composed of outstanding international personalities in the design sector such as Andrea Lupi, CEO of ANTONIO LUPI, Francesco Zurlo, Dean of the Design School at POLITECNICO di MILANO, Giovanni Anzani, CEO of AD POLIFORM, Gilda Bojardi, Editor of the magazine 'INTERNI', designer and architect Cristina Celestino, design researcher and critic Beppe Finessi, among others - made its final selection after a rigorous curating of the brands from all over the world that had applied to exhibit their products. KONQRIT was chosen to be among the select group of sixty designers and brands that will be showing their lines to the more than 300,000 visitors who regularly attend the Fair.

The Salone Satellite is an outstanding space in the Salone del Mobile Milano, and it is the first event focused on promising designers under the age of 35. This space has become the epicentre for design entrepreneurs and talent scouts. 2024 will mark the 25th anniversary of the Salone Satellite, which will be celebrated with a large exhibition at the Milan Triennale, at which emerging designers will present their most recent projects, some already in production, and others still under development.
